Disneycation Day 3 – Hollywood Studios

Even after a really busy and what felt like a long stay due to tiredness, I was excited to get back to Disney and explore. This time at Hollywood Studios.

Morning: Long Lie and Brunch at Cracker Barrel

DDay301

So after our busy day at Magic Kingdom we decided to have a bit of a long lie in the morning to recoup. Which was fine and well as it meant showers could be had and getting ready didn’t have to feel like a military operation. Once we were all ready we decided to go and grab some brunch at Cracker Barrel. Which was another one of our favourite places from last time. They serve country home cooking and so tasty and definitely worth a visit. I had the pancakes that were topped with warm peaches and a gooey peach sauce with whipped cream on top of that. It’s one of my favourite breakfast meals of the trip.

Afternoon: Hollywood Studios

DDay302

We reached the park by early afternoon, and it meant we missed the morning rush of people. I was a bit sceptical about Hollywood Studios as I heard it that a look of attractions had closed. But it actually turned out to be a pretty chilled day at the park which was nice. We also took advantage of our Photopass by taking some of our first family photos of the holiday. There are some great spots at Hollywood Studios for Photopass but not as many as other parks so keep your eyes peeled.

Attractions we did at Hollywood Studios:

Indiana Jones Stunt Spectacular

Frozen Sing A Long

The Muppets 3D

Toy Story Mania

The Vogage of The Little Mermaid

Star Tours

Fantasmic

We also done our first character experience after watching the Frozen Sing A Long, where we got to meet Olaf. We also had a coffee stop at the park after Toy Story Mania where we had the most amazing, and massive doughnuts from a coffee booth outside the Pixar gate. They looked so good and were that delicious that everybody walking passed stopped to ask us where we got them.

We ended the day by watching Fantasmic and then headed straight to bed to recoup for a busy and long day at Universal Studios.

I hope you enjoyed this post, and I shall see you next time for Day 4.

What are you most looking forward to opening at Hollywood Studios?

Stephanie
